Requirements and responsibilities

We are currently looking for a QA Engineer to join his dynamic team.

What you’ll do
  • Participate in the design of major features from initial requirements through customer acceptance;
  • Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications, execute test cases, analyse and report test results;
  • Manage all test activities for development projects, including bug/defect tracking and reporting, integration/user-acceptance and regression testing activities;
  • Promptly report, document and inform upon any issues that may impact upon the product development lifecycle;
  • Work side by side with the development team to test and verify software applications, assisting the team in achieving the desired quality in their products;
  • Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery;
  • Provide support in resolving critical  production issues (along with the development team).

What you’ll bring
  • +3 years of relevant working experience;
  • Proficient with Software development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, QA methodologies, defect management system and documentation;
  • Developing test plans, test suite, test cases;
  • Exploratory testing;
  • Experience using a test management tool e.g. Xray;
  • Web & API applications testing, Data testing;
  • JIRA or similar tools;
  • Ability to generate test effort estimates;
  • Ability to interpret test results for release decisions;
  • Very good communication skills;
  • ISTQB Foundation level - nice to have;
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience - nice to have;
  • Automation experience - nice to have.
